SOLD Alan Davis Linerlock Trapper

For sale is a never used or carried jigged bone folder from Alan Davis. It is a beautiful example of Alan's early craftsmanship as this was one of his earlier designs that I picked up in late 2011. The overall length is 7 1/8", the blade is 3 1/16" from tip to scales and is hollow ground from 1/8" 1095. The blade was differentially heat treated as were the liners and bolsters (410/416 stainless). The scales are amber dyed jigged bone and there is file work on the blade spine, bolsters and liners. The thumbstud is made of sterling silver. It has a nylon cased bearing system, which operates smoothly and has zero blade play in any direction. It is paired nicely with a custom RH sheath made by Alan. This is a very nice gentleman's blade.
