For sale is a custom full dress Hornet #71 by renowned Australian knifemaker and artist, Alistair Bastian. Blade is 3.8" sole authorship san mai damascus. The scales are made from Bastian TiDamascus which is Alistair own damascus steel that he forges himself with anodized titanium liners. The backspacer is three-piece hand filed copper and stainless. The pivot is hand filed stainless with copper collars. Everything is made by hand and in-house. Deployment, lockup, and centering are spot-on. Knife has hidden hardware and is rock-solid with a commanding heft of 12.3oz. 9.2" overall length. The colors are amazing and change with the lighting. This is the finest Bastian knife I own.
