For sale is a beautiful hunting knife made by true Master Knifemaker D’Alton Holder. He is in the Knifemakers Hall of Fame, and has been recognized as an artistic craftsman par excellence for quite a few decades. His designs and use of exotic materials and engraving has influenced many makers. I’ve had it in my collection for many years. I’ve admired it many times but never carried or used it.
The blade is ATS 34 stainless steel at Rc 61 hardness. The guard is nickel silver with a handle of green maple burl, African blackwood spacers, and yellow amber inset. A very nice combination. The blade has a high mirror polish, and has some nice decorative file work on the spine. It comes with D’s iconic leather sheath.
The price has been greatly reduced to SOLD shipped in the USA with PayPal fees paid by me. I’m perplexed as to why this knife hasn’t sold. If anyone can shed any light on this let me know. I’m only going this low due to a health hardship I’m having. Please PM or email me if you are interested.
