The A7 is another top-notch flipper design from the South African team of Andre Thorburn and Andre van Heerden. This tactical folder is marked A² on the blade and is both extremely ergonomic and utilitarian. The squared-off shape of the handle and precisely jimped thumb ramp lock this design into your hand and it's comfortable for extended, hard use. The gorgeous 3.5" tanto blade is made from M390 stainless steel with a classy hand-rubbed satin finish. The finish is not very tactical, but the size and shape lends the blade to a variety of tasks and it will excel at each and every one. The handle is made from smooth black G10 over blue anodized titanium liners. The pivot is coated with a finish that is over 70HRC so you shouldn't have a problem with this guy getting scratched while you carry it. The titanium pocket clip has a brushed satin finish and is set up for tip-up, right-hand carry. The liner lock is very easy to disengage and you will find yourself flipping this knife open over and over again. It's one of the best flippers on the market utilizing a single row IKBS pivot bearing system and the build quality is simply superb.
