Up for sale is my Andre Van Heerden M39 Flipper. It is in "As New" condition; never carried, never used, (except to shave some forearm hair to test sharpness; it's as sharp as any knife I've owned), and flips like a rocket using IKBS.
South African knifemaker Andre van Heerden is well known for making impeccable knives; from lockup to blade centering to fit and finish, Andre's knives are as good as it gets.....
Blade is dead center, lock-up is about 30% with no stickiness, and the blade is hand rubbed to a satin finish.The handle is shaped from carbon fiber scales on both sides, (so I would call this a bolster lock), which have been carved into a honeycomb pattern, creating a dramatic appearance and a terrific non-slip grip. The bolsters and frame are anodized bronze and the backstrap is a solid non anodized slab of steel.
It will arrive in an embroidered AVH canvas case.......
