AB iMamba Plain Titanium Flipper on ceramic ball bearings (Build #22-115)
$350 PayPal F&F or $363 PayPal G&S shipped USPS Priority SOLD
Precision and tolerances on par with CRK and a fantastic blade grind and polish. This is the older style bearing system and has 26 loose ceramic bearings, steel inserts with machined bearing races set into the scales, and bearing races milled into the blade. The detent rides on a deeply machined detent track that's about the same depth & width as the bearing races. Built in 2022 so it has the lighter detent compared to recent models. Flips well, definitely meant for more of a "push button" motion than a "light switch" motion. Can be reverse flicked and slow rolled as well. Best machined clip I have ever used and the action is super smooth. It had never been disassembled before I got it, so I took it apart, cleaned it up, and lubed with Diawa reel oil. Pivot has some blue lock tite in it. If you've always wanted a medium Sebenza on bearings, this is it for sure. Comes with box, build card, and Frank Hanx cloth.
Blade: This came to me with a "professionally" hand-sharpened edge that was very sharp but not very pretty. I corrected most of it with a Wicked Edge, but some spots you can see just a hair of the apex left from the first sharpening job. I sharpened it at just of 16 degrees per side and didn't want to go any steeper just to cover the previous sharpening. Also had a bit of a smile on the edge by the choil, and some grind marks on the choil itself. Blade has some hairline marks that are not visible in normal lighting - see video for normal lighting, pics were take directly under a 4000k lamp.
Scales & Hardware: Scales show signs of being carried with plenty of snail trails, but no significant dings or dents. Hardware is clean with no marring. Pivot takes a T25 and has a D-shape milled into the show-side pivot hole to keep the pivot from rotating during disassembly. Scale screw is a T8. This should be disassembled by taking the lock-side off first.
