Ok, here's the story. I'm the original owner of this knife and I've owned her for about a year.
I recently posted and sold this knife for $200 here on the exchange described as LNIB and a great specimen.
The day after the new owner received it, he contacted me and said the tip was bent. At first I was surprised because I never used it for anything but envelopes and only carried this knife. After a few back and forths to make sure this was all on the up and up, I refunded the buyer's money plus return shipping. My deals are never complete until one or the other party is happy.
When I got it back, I started to inspect the tip and the more I looked at it the more I felt I saw it then I didn't then I did then I didn't . . . As it turns out, if you look hard, it has a very minor appearance that the tip near the lower edge part of the tip has a very minute twist but I really think it's a illusion caused by the primary hollow grind being slightly different on one side versus the other. Plus the edge grind is beveled more on one side than the other. I had my girlfriend look at it and she thinks she sees this effect as well but looking from down at the spine and in general use without macro inspection, it looks normal. As I said, I never noticed this until the embarrassing moment that I received the PM from the buyer.
This knife is exactly the way I received it from the dealer to be clear. The tip was not bent by me or by use. I still think it's an illusion between the primary hollow grind and the edge bevel. But maybe it is twisted bent by a thousandth. The new buyer will be the judge . . . Everything else about this knife is exactly how us knife enthusiasts like them, centered blade, solid and early lockup and the flipper action is smooth and easy. Apart from this history, this knife functions perfectly! All original packaging too . . .
Fast forward to now, I still want to sell this knife and now that she's tainted with this full disclosure, someone is in store for a really good deal on a great knife. I only sold it the first time because that's what us knife nuts do. I like this knife a lot but it was time to try something else.
So here are some pictures with two different backgrounds. the main pictures are the pictures I posted in the last sale thread and the last few are from an hour ago when I tried to get good pictures of the tip. Regardless, as I stated, if the new buyer feels it isn't a GREAT deal, I will refund their money plus shipping.
SOLD shipped to your door via USPS Priority Mail, United States only please and please be 18 years old or older.
I prefer PayPal for a safe and speedy transaction and I will pickup the PayPal fees.
The first to post "I'll Take It" here gets first shot as always and please keep questions and comments to PM's and emails. Thanks!
