I used this knife a few times and roughed the black canvas micarta handles to provide better grip. CPM3V blade was convex sharpened (it comes convex from the factory) by me and is plenty sharp, with barely any noticeable patina. The pictures show a brownish tint to the blade that isn't there in person, and I think is just the reflection from my porch. The scuffs on the spine near the tip are from a firesteel. The sheath has been treated with Greenland wax.
