- Condition – Used condition, with box. This knife has been carried, used, and stored in its sheath. There were a couple of rust spots on the blade when I bought it that I tried to buff out. The rust is gone, but the marks are still there. The blade also has a small chip in the edge, towards the tip, that I put there. There are also a number of scratches and rub marks on the blade from use. The handle has a rub mark where the sheath’s snap makes contact. The blade is marked 1st production run, in a certain light it looks like someone took two tries at stamping it. Overall, it’s in good condition for a user and is ready for some real use.
- Steel – A2, I’m almost positive, but the blade is not marked.
- Edge – Factory edge, with small chip. Sharp enough to slice paper, with a hang-up at the nick.
- Handle – Green canvas micarta
- Fit and Finish – Nice, the grinds look good. Feels great in the hand.
- Sheath – Leather, with the imperfections of leather
