I reserve the right to refuse a sale to whomever I choose due to problems with them in the past.
Bark River Highland Special, Cocobolo scales, 1/8" A2 steel, full convex grind. Knife measures 7.75" OAL, blade is 4 inches. I purchased this knife new from KSF. I have used it some while camping and to help process a couple of deer. The blade still carries the factory edge and is still shaving sharp, it does have a slight patina forming but it's very light and could be polished away very easily. Unfortunately, I did manage to drop it onto my friend's hardwood floor. You can see the resulting small crack in the back of the handle. It is only that little piece, the crack does not go through the whole scale. The lanyard tube was slightly pushed in as well. This could be fixed by straightening the tube and radiusing the back edge of the handle scales. The chip is not very deep at all. The sheath is still in great condition, just a few small cosmetic blemishes. It has been treated with a beeswax protectant.
