This beauty needs to find a new home.
Bark River "Mini-Axe" labeled "Prototype". Like new condition. Unused.
Bought new by me 12 years ago. Never been out of the house except to take the pictures below.
This little thing is sweet! Fabulous convex grind and polish on the head. Perfect balance. Light and quick in hand.
10 3/4 inches overall length. The axe itself weighs 9.0 oz and the belt sheath adds just 0.8 oz.
My understanding is that "less than 100" of these were ever made. (Apparently it never got into regular production?)
So, if you're a Bark River nut, here's the chance to add something rare and unique to your collection.
Asking $SOLD (was $195). I'll cover the Paypal fees and insured shipping by USPS Priority Mail (with signature guarantee if you want).
Sorry guys, I've got to price this one as a collectible. If you're just looking for a camp hatchet, try Amazon or Sportsman's Warehouse.
