I picked this one up not long ago and have since decided to liquidate most of my knife collection to fund more experiences rather than tying money up in items. For those who don't know about these, it's a Fallkniven S1 blank (no longer made) that has been handled by Bark River Knives. A solid knife to be sure.
The first thing to note with this knife is that there is a decent amount of surface scratches on the outside softer cladding. It looks like someone scrubbed it using a brilo pad. I know this because I did that once with an A1 which scratched it all up. I was able to get those scratches out so I'm sure it's possible on this knife too.
That said this is a beautiful knife. Very nicely figured ironwood burl along with the mosiac pins and overall profile of the knife make for an elegant look.
The edge is razor sharp with no damage that I could feel or see.
The factory S1 leather sheath appears to be new. I've never carried it.
SOLD $215 PPFF or Zelle. US only. No Trades.
