Hello there! Many of you may remember me from several years ago when I used to mod and fabricate custom scales for Sebenzas, Striders and Emersons. I have retired from that hobby.

You don't see these every day: The knife in question is one that I bought for my self, used, a few years back. It had lots of snail trails, rough action and a pretty dull edge. I've cleaned up the action, refurbished the scales in a ceramic tumbled finish. Edge, of course, is edge popping! (I bought the knife only: no box or papers) Great lock up and a centered blade!

Ok just wondering. It seems like it would still be under warranty with CRK... I think anyway. Maybe not?

Hi, I cannot quite tell from the pictures, what did the scale tumbling do? Is the finish rougher than the stock finish?

I did go look at some old threads with your work. Really cool stuff.

Here is a picture of the knife and a typically worn scale. The knife has a shinier finish. The ceramic tumbling puts a random scratch pattern on the surface, making it more scratch resistant from pocket carry.
