Thanks in advance for taking time to look.

Hello all - this is a rare bird - Jerry gifted 30 of these at the 2010 show - This is one of the 30 - the only unused B11 asymmetric that i have ever seen offered for sale was this one that i bought a while back. It's been in my safe untouched.

Jaxx Jaxx - Thank you for the new info - it is interesting that so many people have little bits of information that continue to add history to certain models - I originally got the information that they were "gifted" from the ASYM thread i posted above -
I`m so fortunate to actually have a factory Basic-11 With Assym. grind. They did 30 of those for a show, i was told (take a look at older treads in the Basic-8 Le tread. It was said that Jerry himself did grind those 30 B11- some are calling them "drunken janitor editions.

Thanks for the input - should a post to the original thread be made to correct the information?

Does anyone know the thread as it relates to the above mentioned Basic 8 le thread that references that Jerry did the grind? I searched it - but was unable to find it.

He did not gift them @ Blade '10, but they were offered at a lower price.
Known as JWBIB-11- "Johnny Walker Blew It' B-11.

Jaxx Jaxx - finally found the thread that was posted regarding the JWBIB-11 B-11 JWBIB The one i have has a perfect factory even edge - The ones that you referenced were factory mistakes, or maybe early practice runs for the full priced asym's?

I based that on you referring to it as a "Drunken Janitor" edition....
Jerry bashed his own skills over them @ Blade Show '10. The JWBIB-11's were claimed to have 'wavy edges', but weren't nearly as bad as he claimed. However, he wasn't as satisfied with those, and so he offered them as 'seconds', still with warranty, at a discount.
It pays to do your homework before listing an item for sale. 😉
