Years ago when I first discovered Busse's one of my first purchases was a Battle Rat. I loved it. After reading what various Hogs said about Busse's in general I decided to do a few mods; so I sent it to Josh at Razor Edge Knives for some blade work.He added a swedge and some recurve,reprofiled the edge to 17dps and did a regrind to about .50" because he thought it was way too thick. Lastly he resharpened its convex edge.The difference was dramatic. I didn't do any heavy chopping with it but delimbing trees and other light use was much easier and it was so sharp it bit you if you looked at it wrong. The knife for sale is its brother and has had the same treatment. It has not been used and comes with the original sheath.Handle wrapped paracord by REK to make it thicker (I have big hands). NOTE:One of the pics seems to show marks or scratches on the blade. There is not a mark on this blade that I can find. Never in a sheath.
