Nice old lightly used 1 Lb. machinist hammer....This was a very gently used hammer head that went through a complete beautification process. All nicks, abrasions, etc. sanded up to 800 grit then white rouge over everything. Original foundry casting still remains in the interior but all high's have been polished...weighs in at just a tad over 16 ozs. Total length is 13". Handle is hand-carved Euro-walnut with beautiful chatoyance...finish is original 'Tried & True'....very smooth and indexes perfectly in hand! Head to handle via friction fit with padauk tension wedge...If you have been looking for a heirloom sort of machinist hammer, this one fill "fill the bill" Don't like it? send it back no questions - No disappointments.
