Unfortunately the previous owner attempted to sharpen the upper part of the back of the blade. The knife was sent to Benchmade to be serviced and they did a great job(see hi-res photos). Has minor scratches on the T-latch which is normal for these. This is considered to be the Holy Grail of Benchmade balisongs and is a First Production 057/500.
This is a Benchmade 42 series with the serrated weehawk blade. The handles are anodized titanium and feature a skeletonized channel frame style. This 42 also has a T-latch to secure the knife open and closed (the latch does not have a spring).
