SOLD: Really nice little Benchmade Griptilian 556 BK with D2 steel and beautiful Wilkins Scales.
The knife looks little used with a really nice action and perfect centering. No side play, solid lockup not quite drop shut. Blade is D2 steel with the black coating. Coating is about 99% intact and edge still shows the factory grind but likely stropped at some point.
Kevin Wilkins Titanium scales look like the natural finish version (as opposed to matte) and have a subtle broze anodizing. They show little to know wear on them. Benchmade clip shows just a tiny bit of coating loss on the edges. These are the first version Wilkins grips before he added his "W" logo. Kevin no longer makes the Gritilian grips and the minis have sold out late 2019 with only a few of the large left. End of production for these.
Catch and release and was going to do a scale swap with my other Wilkins but this was too pristine for me to carry.
