Selling my 940-1 after carrying a few times in pocket with the clip detached. Opened a few envelopes. Other than that, not used to cut anything. Edge came sharp and has been stropped but never sharpened. However, stropping has brought the factory edge to shaving sharp. Be careful when handling! 
Pivot has been blue locktited at the point where there is no blade play. Still flips open and swings shut no problem.
No visible wear that I can find. No blade play. Centering is good. Overall a really solid knife and ready to go right out of the box. Includes original box, drawstring bag, and paperwork.
