I'd like to sell this Benchmade 940, which I bought from a local authorized dealer (REI). This is the standard version with green aluminum scales, the purple back spacer and S30V blade steel. I extended the sharpening choil so that future sharpenings will not climb up onto thicker steel at the heel of the blade. I'm not a bladesmith, but I think the results are excellent. The knife has been sharpened once, but only because the factory edge was dull like a butter knife. The edge bevels were also asymmetrical from the factory. I did not want to remove the necessary amount of steel to remedy this problem, so you will still see it if you look. It has been carried very little and is in great shape.
