For some reason I just don't love the 940 design so despite making some improvements to mine, I'm selling it. I hope someone who loves the design will appreciate my mods. The knife has only seen a couple weeks of carry and use.
I thinned out the primary bevel by hand and then hand sanded. It now has much better cutting geometry. You can do things like carve wood which isn't something the factory bevel will allow.
I ground down the axis bar so it doesn't stick out so far on either side. It's still easy to actuate.
I reprofiled the reverse tanto tip to a drop point.
I replaced the screws will purple anno screws. Except for the pivot and rear most body screw.
Knife has zero blade play in either direction and is very smooth.
Freshly sharpened and screaming sharp.
