Two Benchmades for sale. First one, the AFCK:
I'm selling my light user AFCK. I got lucky to snag one of these beauties about a year ago. I carried it a bit and it has been sharpened on the Edge Pro. The M390 steel takes a fantastic edge and stays sharp longer than many other steel types. This is a rare knife and I don't see many on the exchange. The handles are blue/black G10 (smooth) with lightened steel liners. The blade itself has some fine scratches from use, but nothing major. You can see in the photos the knife is in good shape. Blade is nice and centered. Deployment is buttery smooth and very fast. Original box is included.
I made one small modification to the knife. On my AFCK, the tip of the blade was flush with the liners. This meant that the very sharp tip was easy to snag on your hand or fingers when reaching into your pocket, should you brush up against it. I had the blade machined slightly in the AXIS bar area so that the blade tip was recessed about 1/8" below the surface when closed. This change is not visible with the knife closed and you have to know where to look when the knife is opened.
One other minor item is the blue aluminum spacers. One of them had a gouge in it from the factory. This never really bothered me, but I want to disclose it. Photo of it is included as well.
I'm asking $180o.b.o. shipped CONUS, including PP fees. Ok, knife porn time:
Next on the list is my EDC Benchmade 940. If there was ever a true EDC, this was it. This was my 1st "good" knife, which I carried for about 7 years straight. It looks like it too!
The handles are pretty beat from pocket wear and the occasional gravity-induced meeting with the pavement. I had sent the knife to Benchmade for a new blade. They swapped the old 154CM blade for S30V. They also replaced all the screws and the omega springs. The knife is buttery smooth and has good blade centering. I haven't used it since it's been re-bladed, but did put a nice edge on it with my Edge Pro. This is a fantastic EDC knife and I really like the wear it has seen. Looks like a tool that has been used, but still works like new. I'm hoping it will provide many years of enjoyment to its next owner. This is a compact knife that packs a 3.4" blade and pretty much disappears clipped in your pocket.
