It's not a limited edition, in the sense that it's serial numbered like 2 or 100 etc., these were a special run done for Blackwater in 2006. I contacted Benchmade in 2008 trying to get an idea of how many were in the special run, and they thought it was around 50-200, but weren't sure.
 
Ok, thanks. There was a 250 limited edition and on the other side of the blade it stated that. I thought this was one of them, they look exactly the same except for the other side of the blade.
