- Condition – Used, in good condition with box. This is the basic/budget version that has been discontinued as far as I can tell. This knife has only been used a couple of times in the kitchen to cut up fruit and vegetables. The knife was not used in the field and the edge has not come in contact with bone. The edge is super fine (“SelectEdge”) and has taken some very slight, but visible, “rolls” from contact with a cutting board. The “rolls” could be sharpened out, but I think the edge needs to be straightened with a honing steel, which I don’t own, nor know how to use. The knife is still very sharp, so I don’t want to mess up the edge. The handle has some rub marks from the sheath and from being used. Aside from the edge, I don’t see any signs of use on the blade, but there may be tiny scratches or marks from use. The sheath may also show signs of use.
- Steel – CPM-154
- Edge – Used, factory edge, see description above.
- Handle – Santoprene, as far as I can tell
- Fit and Finish – Nice, there are a few imperfection lines in the grind
- Sheath – In good condition. It fits the knife well with no rattle
