This is the discontinued Benchmade H&K Plan D knife. It's a self-defense knife, primarily meant to carry on the belt, either side, front or rear. It can be set up for forward or reverse deployment in an emergency situation. The idea is that if you find yourself in a struggle and can free one hand, you can quickly bring this wicked blade to play and end the fight.
The blade is a 2.9 inch, full flat-ground wharncliffe with a distal taper to a wicked point. It's a karambit kind of thing.
Steel is N680 nitrogen stainless at 57-59 Rc. Grivory scales, Full tang. Kydex sheath for belt or neck knife or underarm. (Belt clip comes off with phillips screwdriver.) 2.3 oz. Made in USA.
This knife is in very good condition, never used, but with some storage marks. The blade has some shine started from the sheath. Photos show it all. No box.
