SOLD
This is a Benchmade McHenry & Williams 707 Sequel Limited Edition with walnut inlays and D2 blade steel. These were made in 2006 and this one is 249/500. It was never carried but it was lost in my safe without a box for many years so it has some storage wear and some discoloration spots on the blade. I took very high res pictures so you can see every defect. The pictures make them look much worse than it does in person. There are some pepper spots along the grind line on the presentation side. Some very fine vertical scratches also on the presentation side about midway down the blade. Tiny surface rust spots around the thumb stud on the presentation side. The clip shows some rub wear just from sitting in the safe. The handle itself is pretty much free from any marks which is pretty amazing since the finish that Benchmade uses on the aluminum frame will scuff if you look at it. This is not a museum piece but it is rare and in pretty nice shape. It needs a good cleaning and the walnut inlays could use some oil and ren wax. I would take off the clip which just covers the beautiful walnut inlay on the back. If it doesn't sell I will probably clean it up and carry it like I intended to 13 years ago. It is about the most perfect gentleman's knife BM ever made.
