This knife is the small lock back Bone Collector knife before that series was rebranded into the current Summit line. I've had it in my storage for awhile.

BUT, the scales on it are off a small Summit knife. I swapped scales as I like the look of the G10 better than the Dymondwood. Just my own taste. Nothing wrong with the Dymondwood per se.

I'm the original owner. Knife has never been carried or used. After I did the scale swap, I set the pivot where I like it and used a tiny bit of blue loctite to keep it there. I had planned to use it for a pocket knife so I removed the clip and just put a couple screws in to fill the holes. I'm leaving those in the event the buyer want to also use it in the pocket rather than clipped. The new pocket clip is provided though.

The D2 blade is centered and has a sharp factory edge. Be aware though, when the blade is locked open, while there is no side to side movement, there is a little bit of up and down. Kinda odd. It was like that when I bought it but as it locks up with a good snap, it never bothered me. I've other lock backs that do the same thing. Because of that, and the scale swap, I'm selling this knife as is. Includes baggie and clip, but no box.

Price includes shipping and PayPal fees. Contact me for PP address to use. Inconus please. Not looking for trades. I can provide more pics if you want.

$Sold....thanks guys!

The scales in the pictures are what will be on the knife. These are the Dymondwood scales that Benchmade uses. It is durable and stable.

Description of Dymondwood =

Laminated wood is manufactured to produce a very unique material, which has the natural beauty of finished wood and still provides a high resistance to heat and moisture. Compressed under high pressure, impregnated with clear resin, the wood then becomes dimensionally stable.

Had a question about the scale fit. The scales fit the knife just like all the other factory models would as it's the same knife frame, so all the scales are interchangeable, as in the Minigrip series. There's no gaps or anything like that. The back spring jimping blends right into the jimping on the blade. No issues. Keep in mind, the factory new price on these models is around $120 so you're not going to get fit & finish as on a much more expensive knife. I think this knife is a good value for its price range with good blade steel. It's not a custom. All I did was swap the scales. Everything else is the same as it was new other than that.
