Benchmade Vex (First Production Run) - [$OLD]
New in box with paperwork. Serial # 303/1000. Rare and discontinued.
Strong lockup, no play, great detent, and perfectly-centered.

Note: the same factory that produced these for Benchmade began counterfeiting them soon after Benchmade discontinued the model. The First Production run used a different blade steel (7Cr14MoV) than the production run (8Cr14MoV). Most you see on eBay are probably counterfeits. There is no real way to tell a real one from a fake one, as the same factory produced both, with the same tooling and materials, unless you have an example of both in your hands.... the variations were very slight between the authentic ones and the counterfeits.
