Hey Folks,
Here is my newest Tomahawk. This design is the Wood Craft/ Bush Craft version of it's Tactical version featured in the back cover or this months (November) editon of Blade Magazine. As mentioned in the article this hawk is conceptual collaboration with Jason Gustafson of www.LesterRiverBushcraft.com. This hawk was designed specifically with Bushcrafters in mind. I think this is my best design yet. Hope you agree. OAL is 14" of 3/8" 80crv2 . Rc. is 58. Finish is Caswell B.Oxide. Instead of my usual tapered tang I plunge ground the handle section to just over 1/8". The handles on this hawk are Shade Tree Coffee Sack micarta. Extremely comfortable in hand! OAW is 1lb. 10oz.. The dimple in the head is a bow drill socket (both sides). There is approx. 10-12 ft. of 550 cord in the handle for emergencies. This hawk has a very fast feel in the hand. $SOLD plus shipping in the US.
