Hi friends.
This big bowie was quite a challenge to grind... and I loved doing it.
I had already posted it, but with a different handle.
Unfortunately, due to my foolishness, it fell from the roof of the car and dragged it onto the sidewalk. As it was in the sheath, I didn't have any problems with the blade, but the handle (and the sheath) rubbed off and I replaced it with this beautiful crown.
5160 steel on blade and guard/spacers (darkening was manganese phosphate) and fine details in SS with checkering file work.
600 grit satin finish.
No-sharp clip.
Axis deer crown, with hammered SS pin.
