That is a beauty Carl , the spalted maple is outstanding

Everything is nice about this one. The swedge is so graceful, the hamon really looks distinguished. I particularly like the curve of the finger guard and how it perfectly complements the lines of everything else.

I am impressed with the sheath too. I have trouble getting sheaths to form so closely like that.

I use 9oz harness leather and wet it good with warm water wrap the Knife in saran wrap an squish it good takes about 24 hrs to dry good

No humidity there in Fl. Here our climate is so wet that any water on the leather turns to green mold in 1/2 an hour .
