This one is forged from 52100 round bar.
I've tried to forge it to fit in Bird 'n trout design, and to keep it good looking and simple.
Flats are left raw, just soaked overnight in vinegar and wire brushed after forging.
After heat treatment, flats are brushed with scotch brite.
Bevels are made in satin finish with scotch brite.
Details:
Overall length - 8,6"
Blade length - 4"
Blade width - 0,9"
Thickness at the back of the spine - 5/32"
Tang is tapered to 1/16" at the end
Knife weight is 3,55oz, and with sheath is 6,76oz
Handle material: Stabilized plum, black G10 liners, carbon fiber pins and lanyard tube.
Handmade 4mm thick (0,16") vegetable leather sheath.
