$OLD!
Another of the knives I made in my journey to becoming a self taught knife maker.
I ground this blade from a larger 1/8" thick sawmill blade. I did not heat treat it, so the knife will not baton through nails, and the tip will bend if used for prying. That being said, it does very easily take a screaming, hair popping edge, and it holds it surprisingly well for a steel heat treated for use as a sawmill blade - certainly well enough for use as a daily user, if daily honing is something you are willing and able to do.
It will serve you well for shaving wood, cutting cardboard, food prep, string, etc. The blade is somewhat pre-patinated from slight use and testing.
I made this when I still had slower tools, so it took me a long time, and my skills and awareness were not yet where they are now, and as you can see there are some minor coarse grind mark still visible near the plunge line.
For what it is, I feel I can reasonably justify asking $OLD! for it, via EMT or paypal. I think it's a great fixed blade that efficiently packs a lot of cutting edge into a compact package. This price includes full tracking and insurance to anywhere in North America.

4" blade/cutting edge
4" handle
4.4 oz, 5.9 with sheath
Black and red Burlap Micarta
Carbon fiber tubes
Kydex sheath
