Greetings everyone! Here’s my new Black River Hunter ready to use anywhere on earth. This versatile size and profile can perform a variety of chores in the field. It is commonly found working in the near wilderness of the Black River, Arizona, nearly 60 miles of wild river with limited access.

Steel is 5/32” x 1 ½” in 52100 with professional HT at 60/61. Hand sanded to 2000 grit for a highly reflective satin finish. The flats are left around 600 grit and have some mill finish remnants for contrast. Balance at the round front of the guard/ricasso interface.

Edge before sharpening was .010” or so and the blade glides through phone book paper, leather, rope etc.

Dimensions: 11 1/8” OAL, Tip to Guard 6”

The 13 piece guard (for good luck!) is made from 416 SS and brass with red n black fiber spacers. It's finished to 2000 grit and buffed.

A beautiful Bubinga handle is sanded to 2000 grit with a 1/8” stainless pin. The handle feels great in my average size hand. Finished with multiple coats of Danish oil and carnauba wax. Sheath is lined with a fine felt like material and molded for a snug fit.

Very affordable at only SOLD to your door for this one, and of course your satisfaction is my only priority. I can accept paypal, check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US.

Thanks so much for looking and please feel free to ask anything here or via PM. I can email the full resolution photos as well, BF is limiting to .5MB for some reason.

PS there's something on the blade on the 1st pic, it's a reflection off the top of the light box, not a smudge.

P.S. I’ve also got 3 more close cousins to this one, 2 with subtle recurve that could be finished to your specs if it’s within my abilities.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind comments, hopefully we'll get this to a new home.

Very nice. Details like the stacked guard, thumb relief on both sides of the guard, and rounded choil all look great.

Great price. I've paid more, for less knife, and much worse finish!!

Hi Bigfattyt Bigfattyt , thanks for that, means a lot to me. I seriously doubt you have enough knives yet!!;)

Hey D DAY8899 listen to the angel on your shoulder... you know ya wanna!;) and it is pretty dang sweet if I do say so myself.

Hi D DAY8899 , I can't weigh it at home but I did a 2"x12" Bowie a year ago at 16 oz so I'd guess 7-8 on this one. It feels pretty light in hand. I can weigh it Monday at work. Thanks for asking.
