- SOLD: BlackJack Knives Classic Model 7

- Condition – Used condition with box. This is the Sabre model handle and was purchased over ten years ago (just an FYI in case there have been changes in manufacturing over the years). This knife was carried, stored in its sheath (with mineral oil on the blade), and used a little. The wear to the knife is mostly from going in and out of the sheath. There are numerous rub marks and scratches on the blade, mostly from where the snap is located on the sheath, although there are a few rub marks and scratches on the other side of the blade as well. There are also a couple of small marks by the edge that make me think I used the knife. I don’t think I ever used it to cut anything, the knife is just too pretty, which is why I took it in and out of the sheath so much. The knife mostly sat on a bookshelf on display for years. There is some discoloration on the guard, from being stored in its sheath. This may polish out, but I don’t have the right polish and I don’t want to scratch it up. This is definitely not for a collector but would make a great user for someone besides me.
- Steel – A2
- Edge – Factory edge as far as I can tell and remember
- Handle – Black micarta, Sabre version
- Fit and Finish – Very nice. The handles look great, as do the grinds. There are some tiny gaps where the blade meets the guard
- Sheath – In good condition but shows signs of use, especially the strap. I did treat the leather with something, I believe Obenauf's.
