Always a pleasure. I’ve got a budget friendly pair looking for a home today. First, a lightly carried and used spydie tenacious, all black. The G10, pocket clip, and blade finish show some light signs of carry (light scuffs/scratches). Centering very slightly favors presentation side, but not even close to rubbing at all. Comes with original box, but I don’t think I have the paperwork.
The second half of the pair is an OKC Carter Prime that came to me in trade.
*Please be aware, this Carter currently has a poor action (specifically, deploying the blade). I don’t want to sugarcoat anything, the deployment sucks. I’ve been too lazy to take it apart and actually look, but my guess is that it’s a detente issue, although I could very well be wrong. The flipper tab needs to be pressed hard as hell to make it budge from the closed position. It’s bad enough that I find it more practical to open it using my thumb on the tab, or with two hands like an old slip joint knife. Besides the pain the a__ opening action, it’s a very nice looking & feeling piece, and would make a great project or parts knife for somebody. Finish is in great shape, with the only obvious mark being a snail trail on the clip. Blade is perfectly centered, with an early lockup, and swings shut nicely with a light flick of the wrist. Factory edge is intact & sharp. This would be a really sweet knife if it opened like it is supposed to. No paperwork, just a white cardboard box.
