Here is another knife from the Fury Skinner blank from Premium knife supply. I bought this one about four years ago and held onto it with a few others. I'm almost out of the blanks I bought back then. I decided to regrind this one from hollow to flat, so it now has much better slicing ability than it had originally, and a more acute edge grind as well.

I'm particularly enamored with the handle, as I have had a really hard time coming across blue canvas micarta, and I just love a good blue handled knife! Make this knife in all black, and you could never pull it out in public in some places. As it is now, I bet nobody anywhere would bat an eye.

Specs:

Steel: 9Cr14Mov
The less well known 9Cr family of steels is tough, stainless and perfectly serviceable steels that will do everything a knife is supposed to do, and do it well, while keeping costs low. Comparable to AUS10 and even close to VG10

Stock Thickness: 3.2 mm

Overall Length: 8 1/8"
Cutting Edge: 4"

Geometry: Full flat, 15° primary edge, 20°, ~.016" behind the edge

Weight: 4.3 oz

Handle: 3/16" Black paper micarta inner liners, 1/8" blue and black canvas micarta outer scales, carbon fiber pins and tubes.

Sheath: Black Kydex suitable for vertical belt carry
