For sale is a benchmade 940 that began as the Knifeworks limited edition 940BK-1101. The 940BK-1101 came with black scales, black liners, silver spacer and silver axis and black coated blade. I swap the blade from a standard satin 940 to this knife. I put the polished split arrow clip on this knife. Both knives were brand new at the time of assembly. Now it's a "Frankenstein 942."
Blade has been sharpened to 8000 on an Edge Pro and cuts phone book paper like a laser.
The knife has some very slight carry marks and the rest is like new. Knife has been carried, but barely used. I carried it as my "gentleman" knife or dress knife. My interests have shifted, so it's up for sale.
