I initially bought this Zaan to EDC, but I came across a Wilson Combat OP before I had the chance. This knife is Brand New In Box (BNIB)—never carried, barely even handled. It has the engraved WC bead (not the laser-etched version) and has a unique Halloween birthdate, making it a standout piece for collectors. I’m letting this go because I’m not much of a collector, and I’ve already found my WC OP.

Who would pay $1700 for this ? Clearly something going on here …

I see the listing on FB and this appears to be an entirely legitimate post where the OP simply made a mistake with the photo upload. Not sure why the need to jump on him so aggressively here, BF is generally a great and friendly place and maybe we can show a bit more grace in the future? Just my two cents.

A 15-year old account, with only 3 posts but a sudden flurry of log-n activity, and no activity showing in the system prior to Jan 2025, posts a sales thread with a whopping price and no pics. This thread had all the signs of a scammer. So pardon us if we are cautious.
