Thanks for your input. This is my 2nd McNees, so I’m going by what’s on the box the knife came in from the seller, who is also a member of this forum. To me I can see where it’s a Tanto because it doesn’t have that long sloping belly of a drop point. The only other thing I can think of is that the seller sent me the knife in the wrong box. In any event, I think it’s a great looking and functioning McNees.
