Brad Southard AVO (REK re-grind, sculpted) mid-tech folder
SOLD PP G&S TYD, rapid secure shipping.
Lockup and centering are perfect. No blade wiggle, no lock-rock. Excellent detent.
There are several small wear-marks on pocket-clip that don’t show up well in the pictures and a few very faint surface scuffs on the blade which can only be seen in a certain light and difficult to photograph. As far as I can see no other marks or damage.
PP Goods and Services only. I pay fees and shipping.
No Trades, CONUS only.
1st unconditional I’ll take it in the thread gets priority. Please follow-up with PM or email.
The previous owner had the custom work done by Josh at
Razor Edge knives (customer requested no maker’s mark…I asked) The following description is from the previous owner describing the modifications to the knife:
"I've been pretty content with the stock Brad Southard AVO. But, I felt that the standard model could use a little tweaking...But I did NEED to get some work done to it...to sharpen up the jimping a bit...to thin down the blade so it would cut...and to make the grips less slippery...so it went to REK (Josh).
What I have now is a Brad Southard AVO which has been reground and sculpted, and is a wonderful folder to hold, to carry, and to use. It now has a full flat grind with the blade-width ground to a spine max of 0.135" with a max blade width of approx 0.080-0.090" for a full 3/4 of the blade height from edge to spine. The blade is now 0.010" behind the edge instead of the previous 0.030" and slices Yellow Pages with ease."
Enjoy the pics... (Josh at REK does great work)
