Bret Dowell Improved Trapper. Basically Bret took his normal single blade Trapper pattern and streamlined the handle shape and the blade somewhat. Makes for a very neat and Mako shark like pattern. Blade steel is ATS-34, stainless bolster, shield, liners, and pins. Golden root jigged bone scales.
3-13/16” closed (just shy of 3-7/8”), everything is flush and tight. Very smooth action with great snap. Nice and thin grind with a razor toothy edge. Stellar condition! Never used or carried.
Bret stated that he hasn’t made many of this Improved Trapper pattern but it’s one of his favorites for a great carry knife. Beat the 2-3 year wait (that’s if his books are even open any longer).
