Up for sale is my Brian Nadeau of Sharp By Design Cyclone. 3.5" S35VN blade. I hate to sell this but I'm of course chasing another grail. I have this and a couple Mini Typhoons and I just prefer the Typhoons to this one. But, I really love this knife and it really hurts to sell.
I haven't seen many of these come up for sale. They are pretty hard to come by.
The knife is in beautiful condition. It's got a bronze/grayish stonewash type finish with a black coated blade. The Ti scales are pretty much spotless but it's always hard to tell with a stonewash. The blade has a couple very minor bright marks at some peeks on the spine and the bottom of the flipper tab. The are very slight though. There are also a couple very faint surface lines on the blade (see photo) but they are very hard to see only in the right light. You'll probably never notice them. Lock up is good and the blade is fairly well centered and maybe just very slight bit off to the show side and I mean slight. Again, see photos. I have never tried to adjust it because the action is perfect IMO. Edge is sharp and I believe factory. I have never cut anything with it.
The action on the knife is simply outstanding. This is probably the best flipper I have ever owned. Seriously. Brian's ramped detent on this knife is something special. Such a fluid buttery flip. It will drop shut when your technique is right but can require an very tiny wiggle/bump if not. I really mean this is the best flipper I have owned. It's that good.
Comes with Sharp By Design case in your choice of color. Brown. Orange or Black. If interested, I can PM an action video.
I'm kind of hoping this doesn't sell. It's such an amazing custom knife mad by Brian.
Upon my acceptance of the sale with the buyer and providing my PayPal info, please provide payment within 2 hours. Otherwise, I'll move on to the next buyer unless the buyer works out an extension with me.
Glamour Shots:
Ignore the tip in the first photo. Bad light. Tip is perfect.
