Buck 303 Cadet - $28 Price Drop to $25 now $23
Up for sale today is my Buck 303. I just had to try the venerable 303 after hearing from all the devoted fans of this knife, so I picked up this knife a few months ago. It certainly is a beautiful workhorse of a knife, but I just don’t seem to be carrying it. It is just wide enough that it doesn’t fit comfortably in the ‘watch’ pocket of my jeans. I personally only carried it probably 2 times since owning.
From what I could research, this 303 was made for Buck by Camillus, sometime from 1974 to 1985 – before Buck took over production of the 303. It has a nicely done long-pull on the clip blade, which is also swedged. All three blades (clip, spey, sheepsfoot) are fully flat ground. The blades all have a good strong snap, and are tight. I see some spots on the springs – and I’ve tried to capture what I see in the pics. The handles are in good shape, and may show just a little wear – once again I tried to show them in the pics. There are 2 brass spacers. This was made in the USA by Camillus.
