I’ve opened some Priority Mail Boxes and stropped it but it’s basically like new. It’s Burts working class knife so it’s not finished to the N’th degree but excellent all the same.

Contoured handle:
The Burt Foster’s handle is a little bit longer and thinner so it’s a tight full 4 finger grip or spacious 3 finger grip. I believe it’s made for a good 3 finger grip that can be used with gloves. Thinner blade stock that’s razor sharp with a Tapered Tang.

The Knives are in Great shape and I’ll try to describe them fully. They are users in better shape than the prices reflect. Things are slow these days but I think the prices reflect good value.

The Burt Foster is $65 below what I paid.

Sold: 1) A 2011 Tom Krein Personal Survival Knife aka PSK with a Spear Point:

- OAL 6.375”
- 2.875" Flat Ground A2 blade
- Spear Point
- 3/16” Blade Thickness
- 1 1/8” Blade Depth
- Full Tang
- Grooves in the tope for thumb traction
- Black Micarta with Red Liners
- Aluminum Pin
- Aluminum Thong Tube
- Kydex Sheath

The knife is in excellent condition and had been lightly used by the previous owner. Mostly just Kydex scratches from the sheath- the scratches from the Kydex are more noticible than any marks from use.

The previous previous owner adjusted the Kydex Sheath- They took a hair dryer to the back as visible by the shiny spot. It opened the sheath by about 1/8th inch. If you’ve had a Tom Krein before (to me) there’s a distinctive Snap as the knife is inserted. This one lacks the snap but holds the knife securely- it’s not coming out unless you want it out.

The previous selling didn’t even mention this fact but I was aware of it because I had contacted the previuos previous seller and they mentioned it.

This knife was used by the previous owner and in excellent condition. I reprofiled it with wet/dry sandpaper on a mouse pad. I think it came out really well and have carried it and used it at work.

This one snaps into the sheath like a semi-automtic pistols slide coming home.

It’s still a little too big and ominous to pull out to cut card board boxes at work so next.

FS: Burt Foster Blue Collar Hunter $old

That's pretty low for a very nice knife made by a Master Smith. I'd buy it for that much.

Sold Thanks
