Im still cheesed off at the speed with which an unnamed member swooped in on that TG yesterday, proper etiquette is to let the add breathe a few minutes so a decent number of hogs can read it. Some hogs wont give anyone else a chance at the trough and its just plain wrong!
The speed at which blades vanish (seen or hidden), from here is called the Free Market Place; patience; diligence...and luck. I have frustrated by missing great deals by mere seconds - and also been the first to view - and snatch - a prized bauble.
Skunk once put up a pristine black handled Satin Battle Rat (the regular run had tan handles - only a couple of the black handled SBRs survived testing). I waited for 10 minutes, and when no one posted I took it. I was just a piglet in those days. These days I'd jump on it instantly.
I remember one time someone posted up a whole collection, as I'm looking at one and deciding which one I wanted, I went to post and the box pops up "a new post has been made" .... One of our more aggressive buyers here posted "I'll take them all" .... I wanted to hook someone with my tusk LOLOLO!!! But I learned speed was everything
