This is Brand New and purchased directly from Busse Combat. The Nuclear INFI
Culinary Knife - NICK is no longer available for sale through the Busse Combat
because it's Sold Out, and has been Discontinued! Nuclear Powered Carrot Cutter
Back in 2003, Jerry Busse introduced the Nuclear INFI Culinary Knife also
nicknamed the Combat Carrot Cutter. These were made by the Busse Custom
Shop and not many were made! The Nuclear INFI Culinary Knife have one of
the thinnest thickness made out of INFI steel in all of Busse History.
Than a Nuclear disaster happened and in January of 2004, it turned out
the wrong thickness of steel was ordered and it would cost too much to
mill them down so they ran some of these XXXL NICK and sold the few that
they had. These were nicknamed "Nuclear Powered Carrot Cutter!" Jerry said this:
The standard "NICK" will be very thin and ideal for fine cutting chores
such as vegetables and de-boned meats, while the "NICK XXXL" will be great
for heavier cutting tasks such as, chicken chopping, rib splitting, drunken
laser operator hacking. . . . etc. . . . The "NICK XXXL" is a Nuclear Powered
Cleaver of sorts.
Well fast forward 13 years, and I think the Busse Custom Shop found one of
these blanks laying around and so they made one of these with the old blanks
but used the new materials and techniques they learned over the years to build
this beautiful knife. This has a Flat Saber Ground Hand Finished Satin Blade
with a V-Ground Edge. I believe back when these were available in 2004, they
were only made with rope handles but the Busse Custom Shop went all out and
did a Custom Hand Smoothed Full Stacked Bones in Red Resin Handle w/German
Nickle Silver Tubes Filled with Clear Orange Resin & Yellow Liners.
This is Brand New, never used, carried or sharpened.
