This knife is a pure work of art from Charlie Edmondson. It is a large bowie/chopper forged by Charlie from Aldo's 1095FG (Fine Grain) which in Charlie's words is closer to W2. This knife is a beast, with a 10.5" blade that is .30" thick at the thickest part of the spine. And with the perfect balance Charlie built into this knife, it is not at all unwieldy in the hand.
This knife is in new, unused condition as purchased from the maker. It comes with it's original shaving sharp edge. The beautiful bocote scales are completely contoured, and fit the hand like a glove.
This knife sold for $345 new, I am asking [SOLD] including shipping to the CONUS. First "I'll take it!" gets priority. Thanks for looking!
Here is the original sales thread from the maker: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/892246-SOLD-1095-Hamon-bowie-chopper-Sheath
Let me know if you want any additional pics of other angles, etc.
