This neck knife is a full tang Carter Cutlery pattern, blade is 3.25" cutting length. A thin slicer with a spine just .080 thick. Rosewood handles, red and white liners. Tapered tang
This knife is forged and heat treated in a straight water quench by me to a hardness RC about 62+. I learned bladesmithing at Murray Carters shop with the bladesmith intensive course.
Peened brass pins.
I'm not totally happy with the tapering forging so this is imperfect to me, (The steel and cutting edge is solid) and thus is value priced.
Comes with kydex neck carry sheath.
I would say this is a lightweight, light use utility neck knife.
again I want to reiterate, this is a light duty utility knife, it's a thin slicer.
I am relatively new to knife making improving my capabilities over the last 12 months. Up to now Ive given away about 30 knives to family and friends. But my wife says I now have to sell knives to support my hobby
overall length - 7.28"
flat grind , raw forged finish, hand sharpened on Japanese water stones.
I left the grind low as the blade thickness is on the thinner side.
no maker mark
I give the knife a working machine finish that is buffed and polished.
Asking Price: $125 (reduced)
Payment is via check, PayPal or money order. This is listed elsewhere for sale
Free priority mail shipping in U.S. International is ok, shipping to be quoted
Thanks for looking.
