Sold. Checkered Skinner

I am excited about this one. I collaborated with a talented gun stock maker Matthew Horninger to produce this checkered skinner. I made the knife and scales and then Mr. Horninger did the checkering on the scales. The beautiful ringed gidgee scales are a perfect background for some very well done hand checkering. Let me know what you guys think.

That's stunning! I love the checkering, but I also think it was a great idea to leave a little glimpse of the underlying gidgee - those arrowhead details really catch the eye. Wonderful job on that hamon line. And let's not forget to mention that awesome matching sheath.

Great job on this one Matthew! It reminds me of my checkered grip on my Remington shotgun. Nice Hamon, and your wife nailed that sheath, looks great. Awesome package and collaboration between the three of you!
